Celebration of Flavours

On May 22 2009, the Western Association of Persons with Vision Impairment hosted A Celebration of Flavours: Food and Wine Tasting Workshop. Participants purchased tickets and were treated to a three course sampling of tastes which demonstrated that the food we eat can affect the taste of the wine we drink with that meal.

Colleen McClean combined her chef's experience and her instructional experoence to conduct a very successful workshop. Thanks Colleen! Special thanks also goes to the Douglas Students' Union for donating the venue and for their cash donation. The Western Association also thanks Safeway for their contribution.
